The KütchenArte kitchen lottery ran for 50 days, giving customers the chance to win their dream German fitted kitchen for free. All they had to do was purchase the kitchen before 10pm on Sunday the 21st of May to qualify for entry and be in with a chance of winning.
The winning couple, from Petts Wood, Orpington, Kent, said 'It was a big shock and sweet surprise to us, we never expected anything like this in our life. We would like to say a big thank you to the all staff from the KütchenArte Bromley showroom ; in particular, we wish to extend our appreciations to Tony, Sandra & Irene for their professionalism and services we received in the process." A delighted Mrs Yang then went on to say "The local, personal approach, together with a beautiful design is what made us buy. To not have to pay a single penny is unbelievable".
KütchenArte's personal kitchen designer, Tony Banfield was delighted at being able to create a dream German kitchen for the Yangs, saying "The brief from Mr and Mrs Yang was to create 'something special' but equally a kitchen that was very functional for day to day living. An open plan social area was important to them." He went on to say, "The final design, after several consultations, gave an airy/spacious feel to the kitchen with storage options that allows Mr and Mrs Yang to entertain and yet have a clean functional kitchen."
The couple purchased their new fitted kitchen after having an extension to their home and as a lecturer and freelance designer, they both had very strong opinions on how they envisioned their kitchen turning out.
