The Second Annual West Michigan Stage Race took place this weekend on May 19- 20, 2012. MyWay Mobile Storage, the leading provider of moving and storage solutions, was a proud sponsor of the event.

This unique event provided racers with a "Tour-de-France style" race. The two-day, three stage event awarded winners for individual stage performances as well as overall winners. The event was broken into three stages, and racers had to complete the previous stage in order to advance to the next stage.

The first stage was a 7.2 mile time trial that began at 7 a.m. Saturday morning at Chief Hazy Cloud Park in Ada. The second stage was a criterium and began at 1 p.m. on Saturday at Kent ISD in Grand Rapids Township. The third and final stage took place 7 a.m. on Sunday at the Flatwater Grill in Lowell.

The West Michigan Stage Race is Michigan's Premier Bicycle Stage Race and 230 racers registered and participated in the event. MyWay Mobile Storage is passionate about being involved in the community and is honored to sponsor local events and activities.
