His Holiness Paramahamsa Nithyananda opened the Press Meet by welcoming the 53 Hindu organizations participating. He announced that Sri Ashok Singhal, International Vishwa Hindu Parishat President, has graciously agreed to be the Honorary President of the Madurai Aadheenam Protection committee.

The committee of 53 organizations passed a declaration supporting Paramahamsa Nithyananda's Coronation as a visionary leader for a Hindu Renaissance. The declaration was read out for the benefit of the media.

Referring to the reports in certain media that the 232nd pontiff of another ancient organization, named as Thondaimandala Aadheenam of Kanchipuram had also signed the resolution protesting against the coronation, the pontiff's own bother declared and reiterated that neither had signed the petitions against Nithyananda, nor had they given any statements against him. To this Paramahamsa observed that including the name of another revered pontiff without his knowledge and signing the negative resolution would be termed as unethical act and may also amount to dharmic forgery.

Elaborating on his plans for the future expansion of Madurai Aadheenam, Paramahamsa Nithyananda reiterated that the media should encourage RTI (Right to Information Act) so that all organizations maintain transparency in operations. Nithyananda has voluntarily offered to bring his organizations under the RTI.
