In his newly released book, 'The Crystal Eye Floater: A Link between Ancient Spiritual Traditions', author Enck Kanaj explains the possible causes of and reasons for the presence of eye floaters. Delving into their historical representation and their similarities to the symbology of ancient religions, Kanaj presents solid theories as to the biological and spiritual explanation of these eye-related phenomena. For example, many eye floaters appear as long, circle-covered strands that create rainbow-colored visions when viewed through the long-slanting rays of sunset. In the book, these are likened to the symbol of the circle-patterned Serpent in ancient Egyptian tradition, which is often depicted basking under the sun's rays.
"Almost everyone has eye floaters, and some are worried about the health issues they might present," said Kanaj. "This book offers possible evidence that ancient peoples experienced them and intentionally observed them, and explains that not only most of eye floaters are harmless, they might prove to be a useful tool in achieving clarity of mind and spirit."
Linking spirituality and biological evolution is a central theme of the book; Kanaj presents the idea that eye floaters might be a remnant of the 'tapetum lucidum', the "eye-shine" that gives nocturnal animals a predatory edge, suggesting that early humans once had this ability and could develop it again.
The ebook is published by eBookIt.com and is now available through the eBookIt.com bookstore as well as through several popular online retailers. For more information, please see Mr. Kanaj's blog at http://love-eye-floaters.blogspot.com/ or contact him at loveeyefloaters@gmail.com.
