VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwire - Feb. 23, 2012) - ComWest Enterprise Corp. (TSXV:CWP)(TSXV:CWP-A) (the "Company") is pleased to announce that Public Works and Government Services Canada has awarded a contract for approximately $17 million including taxes to the Company's subsidiary, Peerless Garments LP of Winnipeg, Manitoba ("Peerless"), for the delivery of navy rainsuits comprised of a jacket, trouser and hood for the Department of National Defence (DND). The award represents a firm order for delivery with a contract value of $17 million which includes tax. This award also includes an option for the delivery of additional quantities of the same rainsuit valued at up to an estimate of $17 million including taxes. The option may be exercised by the DND during a thirty-six month period following the award date.
