Ingram Content Group today announced that its Vital Source business unit has been awarded four Telly Awards, including the highest Silver Award, for their innovative work in educational video production. The prestigious Telly award honors the finest video and film productions, outstanding cable TV commercials and programs, and online commercials, video and films.

"The Telly Awards has a mission to honor the very best in film and video," said Linda Day, Executive Director of the Telly Awards. "The accomplishment of Ingram's Vital Source illustrates their creativity, skill, and dedication to their craft and serves as a testament to great film and video production."

The Vital Source media group is a leader in developing e-textbooks, interactive media, and innovative high-quality videos for the education community. Vital Source received one Silver Award and two Bronze Awards for videos produced for the New York City Department of Education (view here) as well as a Bronze Award for their work for The National Center on Time & Learning (view here).

A judging panel of more than 500 industry professionals, each a past winner of a prestigious Silver Telly and a member of The Silver Telly Council, judged the competition. The Council evaluated entries to recognize distinction in creative work. This year, the 32nd Annual Telly Awards received over 11,000 entries from all 50 states and 5 continents. Less than 10% of entries were chosen as Winners of the Silver Telly, the highest honor. Approximately 25% of entries were chosen as Winners of the Bronze Telly.
