Ci&T, a Nearshore provider of value-driven web and mobile application services and software product engineering, today announced that Marcio Cyrillo, head of mobile strategy, will deliver a presentation and participate in a panel discussion entitled, "Cool Concept to Industry Game-Changer: The Impact of Mobile on Enterprise IT," at the CIO Forum & Executive IT Summit, May 23-24, in Atlanta.

With enterprise mobility demands changing as multiple new devices and operating systems enter the marketplace and employees bring consumer devices to the workplace in growing numbers, IT departments have to stay ahead of the trends to ensure the business thrives. Security, seamless integration and multi-OS app compatibility are just a few of the issues that IT departments need to take into consideration when dealing with the changing mobile landscape. In this panel discussion, Cyrillo will join Chris Huff, vice president of product engineering at The Weather Channel, and James Prolizo, director of mobile delivery, global eCommerce at IHG, to discuss best practices to successfully integrate new mobile strategies and devices into the enterprise and transform them from IT hurdles into business assets.

Who:
Marcio Cyrillo joined Ci&T in 1999 and is head of mobile strategy, where he focuses on interactive services and mobile development. He is also a member of the Ci&T Entrepreneurship Program, where he launched the program's first mobile app, runens. As a result of runens' success, Cyrillo now serves as a mentor to Brazil-based Ipanema Games, a mobile gaming startup.

Chris Huff is head of mobile and consumer app development at The Weather Channel. Prior to joining The Weather Channel, Huff worked at The Home Depot for 12 years, where he led numerous development teams, including international, data integration, SAP enterprise software development and online and mobile application development. He holds a master's degree in business administration, focused on eCommerce, from Georgia State University and a bachelor's degree in marketing and logistics from The University of Georgia.

James Prolizo is the director of mobile delivery and global eCommerce at IHG. In addition to his duties at IHG, Prolizo teaches mobile development sessions for the Atlanta Mobile Developers User Group. He graduated from Mercer University with a bachelor's degree in computer and electrical engineering and a master's degree in computer and software engineering.
