NAFA prides itself on having many of the brightest minds in fleet management comprise its membership. Year in and year out, that statement is proven when the nominations for industry awards are handed out. Already in 2012, Bobit Business Media has presented one of their three major industry awards to a long-time NAFA Member and another will be presented in June. As Meatloaf sang, "Two out of three ain't bad." In fact, two out of three is exceptional.

NAFA Member Lee Miller of Boehringer Ingelheim was named Fleet Manager of the Year by Automotive Fleet magazine last April at NAFA's 2012 Institute & Expo in St. Louis. Meanwhile, when the list of finalists for Government Fleet magazine's Public Sector Fleet Manager of the Year award was announced on May 17, all three finalists were NAFA Members, ensuring another win. The winner will be announced at the Government Fleet Expo & Conference (GFX) in Denver on June 20.

The three finalists include:

• Larry Campbell, CPFP, Fleet Director, City of Fort Wayne, IN
• Dave Head, Fleet Manager, Sonoma County, CA
• Kevin Schlangen, CPFP, Fleet Manager, Dakota County, MN
