The impressive donation was raised from conference attendees in just one hour. The Poison front man and other celebrity business figures used their star power to gather the funds for the donation during an event at the three-day conference.

The Eric Trump Foundation, which is headed by business mogul Eric Trump, son of Donald Trump, raises funds for the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. Eric Trump is an attendee of the Mega Partnering V Conference and has worked with Michaels before on the hit television show the Celebrity Apprentice, which Michaels won during his season. Trump and Michaels both spoke during the conference which was held May 3-6th in Dallas Texas.

During the Mega Partnering V event, Michaels joined forces with other successful top business experts such as Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak and business wealth coach JT Foxx to not only raise funds for the foundation but to share stories of success. Michaels detailed his own struggles with overcoming a life-threatening condition and the business savvy he used to win his season of Celebrity Apprentice. The singer spoke to over 800 of the world's most successful business leaders that attend the Dallas-based wealth networking conference and who helped garner the funds for the $650,000 donation.
