WASHINGTON, DC (MMD Newswire) May 29, 2012 -- Today, National Jewish and Asian civil rights groups are teaming up to fight discrimination in American higher education. The Louis D. Brandeis Center for Human Rights Under Law (LDB or the Brandeis Center) will jointly file an amicus brief before the U.S. Supreme Court together with the 80-20 National Asian American Educational Foundation (80-20). The brief supports the petitioner in Fisher v. Univ. of Texas.

S.B. Woo, former Lt. Governor of Delaware (1985-89) and President of 80-20 said, "Our brief gives a superb account of why the discrimination against Asian Americans caused by a race-conscious admission policy is wrong.
