MediaMind, the leading independent provider of integrated digital advertising solutions, announced today the winner of its Best on the Block online contest. Launched at the beginning of May, the contest challenged creative professionals to develop :30-second videos featuring creative use of existing Blocks or proposing ideas for new Block effects.
François Girardot - Co founder and Creative director of Biborg, was voted the winner for their mobile Block entry. Girardot will be heading to Cannes, France for an all-expense-paid trip to the Cannes Lions Festival of Creativity.
"For the MediaMind Block contest we wanted a block to meet the challenge. We did not want a standard format; our intent was to promote our vision of mobile advertising and to show the benefits of turning it to a MediaMind Block. Hopefully, this Block will be online soon and we would like to be among the first to use it," said François Girardot.
