(PRBuzz) June 8, 2012 -- A significant scientific and beauty industry event, the third biannual Anti-Ageing Conference, will take place at the Royal College of Physicians in London on 12-13 June.
Entitled 'Nurture and Nature', the convention will feature talks on the science of skin ageing, covering genetics, structure and ethnic differences of skin ageing; anti-ageing strategies including actives and their penetration; consumer perception of product benefits and effects; new approaches to skin testing and clinical data required to substantiate product claims.
This meeting brings together industry experts from all aspects of anti-ageing skin care. Dr. Katerina Steventon, a published author of several scientific skincare papers, will address delegates on 'Consumers' Perception of the Ultimate Benefits of Anti-Ageing Skincare Products'.
"I'm proud and very honoured to be the only UK based independent clinician who has been invited to present a paper at this ground breaking conference where understanding the science of how our genes and environment impact on ageing crosses the threshold of a new era in skincare," said Dr. Steven ton.
She will be sharing the podium with representatives from Procter & Gamble, Unilever and L'Oreal at the two day conference.
