VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwire - March 8, 2012) - ComWest Enterprise Corp. (TSX VENTURE:CWP)(TSX VENTURE:CWP.A) (the "Company") is pleased to announce that Public Works and Government Services Canada has awarded a firm contract for approximately $6 million including tax to its subsidiary, Peerless Garments LP of Winnipeg, Manitoba, for the delivery of lightweight combat pants and vests for the Department of National Defence (DND). This award also includes two options for the delivery of additional quantities of the same lightweight combat garments valued at up to an estimate of $12 million including taxes. The options may be exercised by the DND during an eighteen and thirty-six month period following the award date respectively.
