Avoiding dental implant complications can make both dentist and patient happy. That is why Dr. Ahmed Moneim and Dr. Dircilene Souza are co-authoring a new book on dental implants launched this month. The authors are from the Los Gatos Dental Center, a reference center for minimally invasive implant dentistry in the prestigious northern California Town of Los Gatos in Silicon Valley. Both authors agree that writing a book about implant complications was a must-do to help patients and dentists.
The book recognizes and classifies dental implant complications showing the way the practitioners resolved them and the lessons they learned. Since no one can guarantee that will never experience a dental complication, the book can help dentists of all levels of experience reduce both the incidence and severity of complications and failures. The authors believe it is worthwhile to give pieces of advice to their peers so that similar complications and the resulting discomfort to their patients are avoided. Readers will:
- Learn clinical tips for minimizing mistakes.
- Learn the Top 10 recommendations to avoid complications.
- Reduce the risk of implant complications and failures in the dental practice.
- Save time and money by reducing the incidence and severity of complications.
- Have recommended templates and checklists.
