He will succeed Israel Mazin who will remain as chairman of the board of directors.
Thompson joined OpTier as President last November from CA Technologies, bringing over two decades of executive leadership experience to OpTier with deep experience in innovation, growth and helping to solve client's business and IT issues. Thompson has led OpTier's success over the past six months and will continue to drive strategy and execution as OpTier expands its solutions into analytics and big data.
