Sacheti takes on this newly-created role to help accelerate CLS's investments in data-driven decision-making and customer insights across the group's business portfolio. His appointment underscores CLS's continued commitment to infuse its leadership team with new skills -- those from traditionally analytics-driven industries -- to drive innovation and revolutionize the way CLS goes to market.
In his new position, Sacheti will lead CLS Customer Insights, a team of highly-skilled analytical experts focused on identifying customer trends and needs to drive product development. A well-known pioneer in data analytics, Sacheti has spent more than 15 years in customer-driven research and operations and has held a number of senior risk management, decision science, and operational positions in financial services companies during that time. He was most recently the head of U.S. banking, business risk, and analytics for UBS. Prior to that, he served in a number of roles at American Express, including vice president, risk management.

Sacheti has a master's degree in resource economics from the University of Massachusetts and a Ph.D. from the University of California at Berkeley. He holds more than 20 patents in the areas of information management, customer relationship management, decision management and fraud detection and has published extensively in top academic journals.
