OTTAWA, ONTARIO -- (Marketwire) -- 05/24/12 -- The Ottawa Royals Futuro U-10 Boys are celebrating their recent win as BMO Team of the Week and kicking off their contention for BMO Team of the Week 2012 Champion title at the Bank of Montreal branch at 340 Albert St. in Ottawa on Friday, May 25.

"This is a remarkable group of young players led by a truly dedicated coaching staff." said Carolyn Booth, District Vice-President, Eastern Ontario, BMO Financial Group. "These boys have carried out some very notable efforts within the community. For example, the team is currently collecting 1,000 pairs of cleats for children in India. This major undertaking has resulted in donations from across the country."

As the fourth of 15 weekly winners of the program, BMO will be donating $500 to the Boys and Girls Club of Ottawa on behalf of the Ottawa Royals Futuro U-10 boys. The Boys and Girls Club of Ottawa has served the Ottawa community since 1923, reaching out to 4,500 children and youth each year through after-school, weekend and summer programs that build self-esteem and help to develop stronger social skills.
